The SACE, Pathways and Transition Team facilitates professional learning for:
- Careers Development Practitioners
- Teachers delivering Career Education to Primary and/ or Secondary students
- VET Coordinators
- SACE Coordinators
- Teachers of SACE
- Workplace Learning Coordinators
- Flexible Learning Coordinators
- Transition Pathways Coordinators
- School personnel responsible for providing career guidance, VET advice to their school community.
Pathways and Transition professional learning assists VET Coordinators, Career Development Practitioners and Workplace Learning Coordinators to:
- Assist students to explore their post school options and plan pathways from school
- Plan and manage career development activities for students that align with National and State strategies and expectations
- Meet their expanding role in supporting students through case management
- Enhance knowledge of strategies and approaches to support students from diverse backgrounds to successfully transition to post-school pathways
- Develop and/or support individualised learning plans and
- Seek, create and facilitate alternative, unique and flexible learning pathways for individual students during their senior secondary years of schooling.
Workshops for SACE Coordinators and Teachers of SACE facilitated by CESA complement the professional learning delivered by SACE Board. CESA run workshops will not replicate or replace SACE Board Professional Learning for SACE Coordinators or teachers.
Please note that all expert advice regarding SACE comes directly from the SACE Board and will not be provided by CESA.
