Developing Micro-credentials Workshop
Micro-credentials offer a contemporary way of recognising learning and can be constructed for learners of all abilities, with a focus on the skills that a student demonstrates. This practical workshop will focus on transforming learning or projects already undertaken by students in Catholic schools, to become micro-credentials. The workshop builds on micro-credential professional learning in 2022 but is also suitable for educators who have not previously been engaged in developing micro-credentials. Educators will use and test digital templates to construct micro-credentials that are high quality and consistent with the National Micro-credential Framework. Input and feedback from educators will be gathered to refine the micro-credential templates.
