Description

The Term 2 Professional Learning Day will have an industry focus on careers in animal care and will also include a tour of Dental facilities at TAFE. The day will be hosted by TAFE SA, Gilles Plains and by The University of Adelaide, Roseworthy Campus.

TAFE SA Gilles Plains (Morning Session)

• Overview of the courses available at Gilles Plains.
• Tour of Animal Studies and Vet Sciences.
• Tour of Dental Studies and Dental Technician Lab.

The University of Adelaide, Roseworthy Campus (Afternoon Session)

• Animal & Veterinary Degree Programs Presentation
• Roseworthy Campus Tour
• Lunch can be purchased by attendees at Roseworthy Campus, Maitidli Café (or BYO lunch)
• The day will conclude at Roseworthy Campus at 2.30pm, with the charted bus returning to Gilles Plains TAFE.

Chartered Bus

A chartered bus will transport participants between Gilles Plains and Roseworthy, at no cost to Catholic school staff who choose to travel on the bus.

Alternatively, you may self-drive between the morning and afternoon locations. Parking is available at Gilles Plains Campus for the day, at no cost. Details about car parking at Gilles Plains TAFE and campus maps of both venues will be sent directly to registrants.

Participants will need to provide their own morning tea and lunch on this day. Lunch may be purchased from the University of Adelaide, Roseworthy Campus Café.
