VET Students & Labour Market Trends

This workshop is designed for Vocational Education Coordinators, Career and Pathway Coordinators. It will include a tour of the Rosewater Trade Training Centre highlighting the collaboration between schools. A focus of the afternoon will be consideration of the new VET framework: Preparing Secondary Students for Work in terms of ‘collaboration’ and ‘confidence’. In particular, counselling/guiding students into subjects and VET pathways with consideration of future labour market trends.
