Description

Teachers providing career education in 2023 to students in Years 5-9 who have not previously attended proferssional learning, are invited to attend the Ready. Set. Future. Career Education for Years 5-9 Students Workshop with BECOME. The workshop will provide an overview of the career education learning for students, the teacher resources and familiarise teachers with the student platform (app) so that they can confidently implement this learning with students. The workshop will allow teachers to develop insights about the context of career education for school students.

AITSL National Professional Standards for Teachers Include

Standard 4: Create and maintain supportive and safe learning environments

Standard 6: Engage in professional learning

Standard 7: Engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the community

Intended Audience: Teachers delivering Career Education to Years 5-9 students who did not attend the Professional Learning in November 2022
