CAREER COUNSELLING, COACHING & ASSESSMENT:

Tuesday 15 to Thursday 17 July 2014

Professor Jim Bright will be conducting the Career Counselling, Coaching & Assessment three-day course in Adelaide from Tuesday 15 July – Thursday 17 July 2014. This course will suit individuals looking to:

  • offer counselling, coaching and assessment services to students;
  • support teachers delivering the Personal Learning Plan (PLP) subject; and
  • develop new skills, or update your training in the field of career development.

The course will be of value to all teachers in secondary schools;
it is evidence-based and comes highly recommended. The course
is most informative, well structured and delivery is both
entertaining and engaging.

Project funding from the Maximising Engagement, Attainment
and Successful Transitions (MEAST) element of the National Partnership on Youth Attainment and Transitions (NP:YAT) facilitates reform in the area of Career Development. CESA is committed to supporting school personnel to acquire relevant professional development and qualifications in this area. Up to
ten secondary school personnel will be funded to undertake the Career Counselling, Coaching and Assessment (3 day) course.

Participants on this course are eligible to apply for 25% recognised prior learning towards the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Career Development) offered by the Australian Catholic
