Registrations closed: A second workshop (repeat) will be held in Term 3 (23 July, 1 August and 9 August 2012).

The Catholic Education Office – SA and the Association of Independent Schools of SA (AISSA) in partnership with TAFESA are facilitating upskilling in the updated Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) qualification.

This course has been updated to Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110.

Under the Australian Qualifications Training Framework (AQTF), persons wishing to deliver and assess accredited training (regardless of whether they are in schools) are now required to hold the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110 or its equivalent.

This course is designed to reflect those participants who:

  • have completed the Bachelor of Education (or equivalent) OR
  • hold current registration as a teacher with the Teachers Registration Board of SA (or equivalent regulatory agency).

The CESA/AISSA arrangement with TAFESA is for those who hold CURRENT teacher registration only and is NOT able to be accessed by non-teachers or teachers who do not hold a current Teacher Registration. Please contact TAFE SA direct for any information regarding TAE40110.
