• Teachers intending to deliver VET courses to students under an auspice arrangement.
• Teachers providing support students to complete VET courses.
• VET Coordinators who are teachers, who have not previously undertaken the TAE.

Workshop Description

Catholic Education South Australia is offering teachers currently employed in Catholic schools the opportunity to undertake the 4 day TAEASS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set.

The qualification will be delivered in person over four days by ASC Training.

The training qualifies teachers to deliver VET. It also provides training to understand the structure and nuances of the Australian VET qualification system, which is central to providing quality support to VET students. This course benefits the work of VET Coordinators by helping inform their VET counseling with students.

Nationally Recognised Training - TAE for Teachers Skill Set

CESA will subsidise the cost of this TAEASS00024 training in 2025, reducing the training fee to $850 per teacher. Schools will be invoiced directly and payment prior to the course is required.

To achieve this Skill Set, participants must attend the four full days of training and undertake all assessment tasks to a satisfactory standard. Participation AT ALL FOUR (4) FULL DAYS is compulsory to achieve this credential.
