Early Career Teacher - Professional Learning Day

This day is being organised by the CESA Early Career Teacher Consultants. It is primarily designed for teachers who are in the early stages of their careers and therefore would most suit teachers in either secondary or primary schools who are in their first or second year of teaching.

Activity overview:

The Term 1 program will include the following:

• Building positive and effective relationships - strength based activities
• Classroom management
• System-level support on offer for teachers in the early stages of their careers
• Effective communication with parents
• Professional & Personal Identity
• Information from the Behaviour Education Team
• Launch of Early Career Teachers: Stories of Resilience with researchers from the University of South Australia

Converse with teachers at a similar career stage

Learn more about professsional associations and resources

Participate in workshops led by consultants from the Catholic Education Office
