What Would Jesus Instagram? A moral approach to social media

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This would be a topical day exploring how our Catholic tradition can offer us teachings that help us to navigate our modern lives.

·        We exist in an online world and this can bring so much richness to our lived experiences.  This course would focus on the curriculum opportunities provied in the Being Moral strand from the Made in the Image of God framework and Key Idea 6 Moral Decision Making from the Crossways framework to consider helpful processes for making decisions about what we consume and publish online as participating citizens on the online community.

·        The theme of the day will be to revisit the question 'what would Jesus Instagram?' and specific references to the teachings of Jesus will be reinterpreted to make meaningful connections with the way we live out our call to live the mission of the Church now.
