SCRIPTURE FOR SCHOOL LEADERS
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course will address the concept of biblical truth and explore the formation, authorship and social setting of the four Gospels. A more detailed analysis of Mark's gospel will be undertaken, focussing on the historical background of the gospel and the struggles of Mark's community to understand what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. As 21st century Christians seeking to live out our discipleship in a time of repid change and seeking to define our own identity, Mark's gospel can still speak powerfully to us today.
Whilst there would be an obvious benefit in attending all three sessions, the sessions themselves will stand alone.
