Jonathan Lindsay-Tjapaltjarri Hermawan will lead the workshop:
Following on from the 2013 professional development program Jonathan will move ‘to the next level’ in the area of leadership for cultural intelligence and leadership for well-being and resilience.
The workshop will focus upon an emphasis on what transformational practice and cultural responsiveness “looks like and feels like” and how this enhances the social/emotional well-being of Aboriginal students in the first instance (and therefore implicates everyone else). Code switching, dominant / non dominant culture etc. will be covered.
