Discovering Spirituality through the eyes of the Visual Artist

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This day aims to explore Spirituality and Faith through the lens of the artist. It seeks to explore your personal spirituality as well as opening new doors to student engagement.

·        RE like any other Key Learning Area strives to maximise student engagement through a variety of means. It is not necessary to be a creative artist to enjoy this day.

·        The day will include opportunities for quiet reflection and optional sharing of experiences and discussion that can be adapted for classroom use.

·        It is hoped to spend half the day at the Art Gallery of SA where we will engage with religious art throughout the centuries.
