Exploring a 'theology of the child'.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

In the light of contemporary educational theory and practice, this workshop will explore some key themes in Catholic theology (such as creation, grace and brokeness) to develop a 'theology of the child'.

·        With this growing understanding of the child in light of our shared faith and reason, participants will be invited to reflect on what this means for 'Re-Imagining Childhood', teachers' work and relationships with children and teenagers, and how Catholic educators can honour this understanding in Catholic Schools.
