In Remembrance of Her....(Women in Scripture)
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course aims to explore stories of women in Scripture, named and unnamed, and to begin to understand the significance of their stories to our story.
· The Old Testament names 1425 prople but only 111 of them are women There are many more unnamed. When they are named they always have a significant message. In the New Testament women had significant roles in Jesus' community and the early Church.
This course will seek to explore some of the stories. "Truly I tell you, wherever the good news is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will be told in remembrance of her." (Mark 14:9)
