Indigenous Education Focus Teacher Induction Workshop

For new and / or interested Indigenous Education Focus Teachers

The Workshop will include:

·        An explanation of the diverse work of the Indigenous Education Team and the support that can be offered to schools

·        The role of the Focus Teacher unpacked

·        The protocols around the applications for funding and various programs

·        How to develop an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) for an Indigenous student

·        Procedures around designing Strategic Plans and Reconciliation Action Plans (RAP's)

·        Implementing successful strategies
