COURSE INFORMATION

Term 1, 2014, Monday 10 February 2014, from 9.00am to 4.00pm and held at the Adelaide Sailing Club

CORE FOCI AND PRIORITIES

• Overview of Special Education in 2014
• An update on the CDU and CAT team processes and protocols
• Process for schools for submitting resourcing requests
• Information regarding the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School students with disabilities
• The DDA and Disability Standards e-learning materials.

AITSL AUSTRALIAN PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS FOR TEACHERS INCLUDE

• Standard 1: Know students and how they learn
• Standard 6: Engage in professional learning
• Standard 7: Engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the community

INTENDED FOR

Key teachers, special education coordinators or school leaders with responsibility for special education.

PROGRAM OUTLINE

A full day session. Duration of 7 hours. 

Closing date for registration is Friday 7 February 2014.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Please advise of any dietary requirements.
