COURSE DESCRIPTION
Collaboration tools offer a new role for the teacher. Teachers are no longer just the expert instructor, and need to offer students opportunities to develop crucial skills and the ability to “make sense” in a rapidly changing world where knowledge is changing and new knowledge is created at a rapid pace. Participants will explore was to support learners to select their preferred formats and to select content so they can be confident and creative individuals.

COURSE INFORMATION
Microsoft’s Office 365 offers teachers and students new ways to collaborate – participants will explore ways to capture and share ideas in real time collaboration. Participants will explore learning activities that are cloud based, as well as working offline. Participants can also explore input modes using a range of methods from keyboard, pen, or touchscreen.

INTENDED FOR:
School Curriculum Leaders and Classroom Teachers who are experienced in utilizing ICTs to improve student learning outcomes. Representatives of schools who are or are intending to implement iScholaris or Office 365 in 2014 are encouraged to apply.

PROGRAM OUTLINE
Participants will explore a range of collaborative tools and develop their own learning activities that focus on learning design using real time collaboration.
