STARTING SCHOOL
This meeting brings together the topics of transition and continuity by exploring real possibilities for rethinking and reconstructing the starting school experience.
New understandings of orientation and transition compel us to reconsider the role of the first year of school, how will your school respond to the opportunity presented by The Same First Day Policy in 2014?
Rosemary Saxon from Lockleys North Primary School will share how she and her colleagues have reconstructed Starting School.
Participants will be given time to work with each other to reframe the possibilities for their school.
To celebrate the first year of the CESA Early Childhood Network the meeting will start with light refreshments from 4.15 - 4.45 pm.
