We warmly invite you and members of your staff to attend a Formation Meeting to be held at CRIS (Catholic Resource & Information Service) 112 Kintore Street, Thebarton on Tuesday 22 October 4.30 - 6.00pm.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss social justice perspectives and initiatives that we can take to raise awareness of human trafficking and assist in stopping trafficking, forced marriage, forced labour and support the promotion of fair trade.
ACRATH (Australian Catholic Religious Against Trafficking of Humans) will provide speakers at this meeting. Further information about ACRATH can be found at www.acrath.org.au.
We anticipate that as a consequence of this meeting a network will be formed that will meet twice each term to determine action that we can take to help inform the wider community about human trafficking and assist in stopping the traffic.
