CESA is offering ongoing support for those in leadership or key roles in the areas of mathematics, numeracy or curriculum.

The Secondary Numeracy Network aims to provide middle and senior teachers with:

• relevant and up to date information relating to the Australian Curriculum: Mathematics, SACE and other contemporary initiatives
• engage in discussion and networking related to current developments
• build expertise in leading the implementation of new initiatives

The Term 4 Network will be held on Wednesday 28 August 2013 from 9.00 am to 12 noon in Room 7 at the Catholic Education Office, 116 George Street, Thebarton.

The agenda will include:

• task analysis and moderation of work samples
• exploring AITSL in terms of supporting mathematics teachers
• discussing the proficiency of problem solving
