EARLY CAREER TEACHER

PROFESSIONAL LEARNING DAY

COST - FREE

This day is being organised by the CESA Early Career Teacher Consultants. It is primarily designed for teachers who are in the early stages of their careers and therefore would most suit teachers in either secondary or primary schools who are in their first or second year of teaching.

As well as an opportunity to engage in professional learning led by consultants from the Catholic Education Office, the day will provide an opportunity to converse with teachers at a similar career stage.

Activity Overview:
The Term 3 program will include the following workshops:

• Teaching a Class of Individuals
• Connecting the Learning at Home and School: Get real !
• Establishing a professional profile (including discussion of the requirements for applying for transition from Provisional to (full) Registration)
  
  This session will complement the workshop offered by the ECT Team in Term 2; participants need not have attended that workshop, however should be familiar with the new requirements. Information is available at http://www.trb.sa.edu.au/reg_status.php
• Creative Prayer Strategies
