This professional learning opportunity for teachers of languages in CESA schools will start unpacking the AITSL Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and the Certification Process that will take place in CESA schools from 2014.

  • What do teachers need to know in relation to the standards and the impact they may have on their own professional development?
  • How do the Standards link with the South Australian Teachers Registration Board requirements for teachers' registation and re-registration?
  • What are the requirements for teachers of languages in Catholic schools in relation to the Certification Process that will take place from 2014?
  • What other information is relevant at this stage?
