For teachers of Italian to:

• build knowledge of the organisation of the Australian Curriculum: Languages
• deepen understanding of the general capabilities dimension of curriculum content
• make decisions about which aspects of the general capabilities can be combined to create the conditions of learning that best suit the needs of the students
• engage in professional dialogue with colleagues in other CESA schools

This Professional Learning session references the following AITSL Australian Professional Standards for Teachers:
Standard 3: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning
Standard 6: Engage in professional learning
