This professional learning opportunity will include the following:
Back due to popular demand, we are privileged once again to have Professor Rigney, Dean, Indigenous Education, University of Adelaide, providing the keynote address.
We are delighted that Adelaide Planetarium astronomer and university lecturer Paul Curnow (B Ed), regarded as one of the world’s leading authorities on Australian Aboriginal night sky knowledge, will be sharing some of his accumulated wisdom with us.
Our second road trip for 2013! We will catch the free tram into the city to walk along the Kaurna Walking Trail. This will provide an insight into the lives of the Kaurna people, traditional owners and custodians of the Adelaide Plains and invite us to explore the impact of European settlement on Aboriginal people.
