EARLY CAREER TEACHERS

PROFESSIONAL LEARNING DAY

Presented by the Early Career Teacher Consultants

This day is being organised by the Early Career Teacher Consultants at CESA. It is primarily designed for teachers who are in the early stages of their careers and therefore would most suit teachers in either secondary or primary schools who are in their first or second year of teaching.

Activity Overview:

The Term 2 program will include the following:

•  Literacy & Numeracy Strategies
• AITSL Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
• Requirements for Transition from Provisional to Full Registration
• Behaviour Education: Strategies to engage students.

Converse with teachers at a similar career stage.

Participate in workshops led by consultants from the Catholic Education Office and other agencies.
