The Focus 30 Sessions are a series of short, targeted professional learning opportunities designed to support educators and leadership teams working in education and care services.

Each session runs for 30 minutes and focuses on current and relevant “hot topics” that support service operations, compliance, and best practice in education and care settings.

These online sessions are open to all members of the education and care community, including educators, service leaders, Principals and Regional Managers. Each session also provides participants with the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification on key topics.

To support ongoing learning, all sessions will be recorded and made available for later viewing so services can revisit the information when needed.

Session Topic

Medication Management
Supporting children with medical conditions is an important responsibility for education and care services. This Focus 30 session will explore the key requirements for medication management, including health care plans, administering medication and supporting children with medical conditions in a safe and compliant way. Educators and leaders will gain practical guidance to help ensure their service is meeting regulatory requirements while supporting children’s health and wellbeing.
