 Moderation Information Session for
New Inclusive Education Leaders

CORE FOCI AND PRIORITIES FOR THE SESSION:

• Reviewing the NCCD National Portal: Professional Learning and Resources
• Deepening understanding of diagnosed and imputed disability
• Understanding moderation and key principles
• Planning for moderation in your school.

AITSL AUSTRALIAN PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS:

• Standard 1: Know the students and how they learn
• Standard 3: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning
• Standard 5: Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning
• Standard 6: Engage in professional learning
• Standard 7: Engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the community.

INTENDED FOR:

New Inclusive Education Leaders (Primary and Secondary) and School NCCD Team.

FACILITATORS:

System Coaches from the Diversity and Inclusion Team.

REQUIREMENTS:

Participants are asked to bring their own device for the session. 

This is a face-to-face session with a Microsoft Teams option for regional schools. 
Important note: The Facilitators will send a Microsoft Teams invitation to regional school participants prior to the day.

Morning tea will be provided. Please advise if you have dietary requirements when registering for the session.

Participants are asked to refer to the attached map for car parking details for the Queen of Angels Church car park. To access the George Street site, please use the controlled crossing at the intersection of George Street and South Road.
