Thriving People Days: Wednesday 18 March,
Friday 20 March, Monday 23 March,
and Wednesday 25 March 2026
(Note: Fourth day (25 March) is an option
if there is demand)
Venue: Living Kaurna Culture Centre,
Warriparinga Way, Bedford Park
Time: Each day will run from 10.00am-2.00pm
(Arrive at event by 9.45am)
ABOUT THE EVENT:
Reception to Year 6 Aboriginal Students in Catholic Schools and their teachers are invited to the Thriving People Primary Events, which will be held over four days in March (Term 1, 2026).
The event will be held at the Living Kaurna Cultural Centre, Warriparinga Way, Bedford Park. A significant opportunity for Aboriginal students to build relationships, celebrate together and learn about their cultures and identities. Students and teachers will experience a range of cultural activities, providing all participants with new ways of exploring and expressing culture. On completion of the Thriving People event, students will return to school.
Catholic Education SA invites schools to express their interest in the Term 1, 2026 Thriving People Events by schools nominating to attend one of the four Thriving People days: Wednesday 18 March, Friday 20 March, Monday 23 March or Wednesday 25 March 2026.
Expressions of Interest close 4.30pm on Tuesday 10 February 2026.
REGISTRATION:
Registration for the Term 1, 2026 Thriving People events will be made available once the expression of interest period has been completed.
