Inclusion in the classroom : Allied health and educators partnering for student success

Presented by the CILAH Team (CESA Improved Learning through Allied Health)

In this workshop, allied health professionals from the CILAH Team (CESA Improved Learning through Allied Health) will explore:

  • Understanding inclusion and neurodiversity through current research
  • Creating the foundations of engagement for all learners
  • Understanding regulation and executive functioning and their links to learning
  • Tools educators can use to recognise and problem solve barriers to learning 
  • Practical approaches to teach and support regulation in learning settings
  • The relationship between neurodivergence and trauma
  • Responding to extreme dysregulation
  • Key strategies to increase the independence of all learners in the classroom

If you wish to attend, please discuss with your line manager prior to registering.

The workshop will have 30 places available and is open to Teaching staff and ESO's.

Morning Tea and lunch included.

Cost: $100 - non-refundable. Please indicate at time of registration if your school is to be invoiced or if you will be paying for this workshop (an invoice will be sent to you prior to the workshop).
