RE: induction for education support officers (ESOs)

Please find listed below details for the system-based induction session for ESOs during 2013. 

Education Support Officers new to Catholic Schools in South Australia and existing ESOs who may be interested in and would benefit from attending are warmly invited to register.

Induction sessions will be facilitated by members of the Human Resources and Religious Education Team with the session covering the following topics;

•§  How an Education Support Officer supports the mission of a Catholic school

•§  Duty of Care

•§  Protective Practices for Staff in their interactions with students

•§  Key employment matters for ESOs

•§  Professional Development opportunities and Study Incentive Program funding

Webex is available for country participants to participate in the session being offered at the CEO, Thebarton.  Please ensure the box is ticked to attend via Webex.
