FOCUS OF PROFESSIONAL NETWORK MEETING:
The workshop will provide educators with insight into the way relationships between people, culture and country for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples can be conveyed through works of art. Educators will learn best-practice methods and practical tips on ways to meaningfully integrate First Nations art, cultures and histories into daily learning environments based around the national curriculum. Aboriginal Education Focus Teachers. If the Aboriginal Education Focus Teacher is unable to attend, the school is encouraged to send another staff member to this professional learning opportunity.
