Jesus and Justice

Saturday 3rd August – 9:00am to 4:00pm

Term 3, Week 2

How does Jesus proclaim the liberation and unconditional love of God? What is the 'good news of the Kingdom'? This module will explore the ways in which Jesus' context impacts on our understanding of his mission and its implications for us today.

This workshop aims to explore the ways in which Jesus is 'good news' to the poor and needy, against the background of his 1st Century context.

Intended Participants: Teachers of Primary and Middle Years

Morning tea and lunch are provided on the day, please advise the office of any dietary requirements.

Cost: $45 if paid by school

$49.50 if paid by individual (GST must be charged)

$25 if concession

Can be used as a System Accredited Module if participation
is full day AND a 1500 reflection task is completed.
