Full day workshop, as a KLT cohort, with Dr Lyn Sharratt, University of Toronto.

During the first half of the day, Principals are also invited to attend so that leadership teams of Principal and KLT can learn together.

Drawing on her research with Michael Fullan, Lyn will present on

• the specifics of being an effective instructional leader
• four big drivers of effective school and system improvement
• sorting out the relevant data in order to focus on the individual student
• making connections among colleagues to learn from each other and from a case study to ensure all students increase achievement

In the afternoon Key Literacy Teachers will continue working with Lyn, with a more targeted session tailored specifically to the role of Key Literacy Teacher.
