Workshop with Dr Lyn Sharratt, University of Toronto.

Principals are invited to join with their Key Literacy Teachers for a half day workshop with Dr Lyn Sharratt, international education academic and colleague of Michael Fullan.  Drawing on her research with Michael Fullan, Lyn will present on

• the specifics of being an effective instructional leader
• four big drivers of effective school and system improvement
• sorting out the relevant data in order to focus on the individual student
• making connections among colleagues to learn from each other and from a case study to ensure all students increase achievement

NB – In the afternoon Key Literacy Teachers will continue with Lyn for a more targeted session tailored specifically to the role of Key Literacy Teacher.
