Diocesan Principals: Governance and Delegations

Diocesan Principals: Governance and Delegation conversations will focus on the structures that shape leadership across Catholic Education South Australia.

We will continue our work on Diocesan school delegations following our recent engagement at the Leaders Forum including:

  • the Canonical role of the Archbishop of Adelaide and the Bishop of Port Pirie
  • the authority of the South Australian Commission for Catholic Schools (SACCS)
  • the legal responsibilities of the Catholic Church Endowment Society (CCES) and the Catholic Diocese of Port Pirie (CDPP)
  • sharing key insights from the recent principal survey
  • exploring practical case studies around delegation and decision-making
  • supporting the development of the Delegations of Responsibility and Authority Schedule
Diocesan Principals are required to attend ONE in-person session. 

The content is repeated for each session. Port Pirie Principals will meet on Teams.
