Assessment for Learning using the Language and Literacy Levels - 2 day workshop
There are a maximum of 25 places available
Last Day to Register: Friday 1st March 2013
The new Language and Literacy Levels across the Australian Curriculum: EALD students have been developed by DECD, with support from CESA, to update and align the SACSA Scope and Scales with all subject areas of the Australian Curriculum.
The Levels are the tool used by EAL teachers to assess and plan for the literacy and language development of EAL students. They provide detailed information about students' language and literacy development which can be used for assessment and programming purposes for any student; therefore this workshop is open to all teachers in both primary and secondary settings.
The workshop is suitable for primary and secondary teachers who wish to learn about the language of the Levels and how to use the Levels to assess written language.
