Network Day

FOCUS OF PROFESSIONAL NETWORK MEETING:

• Welcome, Acknowledgement, Prayer and Introductions
• PJ Edwards from Reconciliation Australia will facilitate a session on Reconciliation Action Plan Process and Advice and how to engage with online Reconciliation education resources in the school/classroom context. The session will run from 9.15am-12.15pm with a break for morning tea, and after lunch 
• Network meeting (discussion in Primary and Secondary groups). 

INTENDED FOR:

Aboriginal Education Focus Teachers.

FACILITATORS:

• PJ Edwards from Reconciliation Australia
• Geoff Aufderheide, Senior Education Advisor: Aboriginal Education, Catholic Education SA.

AITSL Australian Professional Standards for Teachers include:

• Standard 1: Know students and how they learn (focus area 1.4)
• Standard 2: Know the content and how to teach it (focus area 2.4)
• Standard 6: Engage in professional learning (focus area 6.2)

REQUIREMENT:

• Participants are encouraged to bring their own device.

Morning Tea and lunch will be provided. Please advise if you have dietary requirements when registering for the Network Day.
