Two Sessions Available | Wednesday 13 August 2025 or Wednesday 29 October 2025 

This session will focus on best practice within CESA for grading newly created positions within the ESO cohort and how to ensure we get the grade as accurately as possible for new and existing positions more broadly. During the session we will cover the following:

  • Importance of classifying a position correctly
  • Classification considerations when providing ad-hoc duties to staff
  • Risksassociated with having positions graded at the wrong level
  • Step by step guide for the grading of new positions
  • Steps by step guide for the grading of existing positions with minor changes
  • Tools and Resources

This session is recommended for Principals, HR Representatives, Managers within CEO and Schools more broadly, administrative staff involved in end to end or the initial phases of recruitment processes.
