Moderation in RE: Interschool process

Bring some authentic student R-10 assessment samples along for a day of moderation. Your facilitators will guide you and your CESA colleagues through a cross-school moderation process using the Crossways Performance Standards. You will also learn about the key points of Moderation, why it is an essential part of the teaching and learning cycle, and you will discover more deeply how to interpret the Crossways Performance Standards in context.

For those who also attend the first workshop “Assessments Design in RE: Let’s bump it up!”, this second workshop becomes an opportunity to moderate using your students’ completion of your developed (or improved) assessment task.

Light refreshments for morning tea will be provided. We ask that you please bring your own lunch for the day (Conference Centre facilities available) or if you wish to buy your lunch there are places close by.
