Great photos tell great stories — especially on social media.

This hands-on professional learning session is designed for school marketers and those managing school communications, offering both photography theory and practical experience.

You’ll learn how to make the most of your iPhone’s camera, explore composition techniques, and refine your editing style to capture engaging images that showcase your school’s learning and community. While the session focuses on iPhones, non-iPhone users are welcome.

• Setting up your iPhone’s camera settings and formats for success
• Composition and choice of lenses
• Focal points, depth of field, and exposure
• Colour grading and editing styles
• Hands on practical photography session

Facilitator: Ben McMahon

Ben is a professional photographer specialising in fashion, food, wine, corporate, weddings, theatre, news and more. 

He has extensive experience and has photographed many of our Catholic schools. We are excited to have him join us to share his knowledge and pass on some invaluable photography tips and tricks.
