Day 2: Nurturing Holistic Development - The Science of Play
This research-driven session delves into holistic child development, emphasizing tools for tracking progress across the five foundational domains of development from birth to eight years. This session has a specific focus on the transition from early learning to school based settings, with a spotlight on strategies and approaches that offer a bridge to connect the two environments.
Drawing on the latest scientific studies, educators will explore the role of play, relationships, and connection in fostering cognitive, social, and emotional growth. The session will highlight evidence-informed practices that enhance learning experiences, ensuring alignment with the EYLF and AC frameworks and best practices in early childhood education.
