CORE FOCI AND PRIORITIES FOR THE SESSION:

  • Information for staff new to the role of Inclusive Education Coordinator in Catholic Schools.
  • Provision of information for a range of disability related supports Catholic Education SA (CESA) can provide to your school.
  • Learn about the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD), use of SEQTA, access to the NCCD SWD Report, and adjustments and evidence.

AITSL AUSTRALIAN PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS:

  • Standard 1: Know the students and how they learn
  • Standard 3: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning
  • Standard 5: Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning
  • Standard 6: Engage in professional learning
  • Standard 7: Engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the community.

INTENDED FOR:

New Inclusive Education Coordinators (Primary and Secondary) in Catholic Schools in 2025.

Participants are asked to bring their own device to the session.

You will require authorised access to the NCCD SWD Report for your school (one of the CESA Reporting Services Report) via CESA’s landing page to gain the most learning from this session.

Please ask your Principal to create a ticket using the CESA Service Desk button or email cesa@service-now.com providing their permission for your access to this report.

Participants are asked to refer to the attached map for car parking details for the Queen of Angels Church car park. To access the George Street site, please use the controlled crossing at the intersection of George Street and South Road.
