(Women in Scripture)

12th September - Term 3, Week 7

The Old Testament names 1425 people but only 111 of them are women. There are many more unnamed. When they are named they always have a significant message. In the New Testament, women had significant roles in Jesus' community and the early Church. This course will seek to explore some of their stories. "Truly I tell you, wherever the good news is proclaimed in the world, what she has done will be told in remembrance of her." (Mark 14:9)

This course will run across 4 after school sessions and attendance at each is required for the course to be a System Accredited Module.

Intended Participants: Teachers of Primary and Middle years

  Cost: $45 if paid by school

$49.50 if paid by individual (GST must be charged)

$25 if concession

Can be used as a System Accredited Module if participation
of all four sessions AND a 1500 reflection task is completed.
