Description
As technology continues to advance within the educational context, it provides opportunities to learn and discern how best to embrace these technological tools to enhance educational and wellbeing outcomes for all learners.
Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) is already being embraced by teachers and students within the school setting, but are we preparing teachers and students to use this tool in ways that are ethical, equitable, and safe?
To officially launch the CESA Generative Artificial Intelligence in Education Guiding Document, we invite you to a Professional Learning Day facilitated by Leon Furze, international consultant, author, and speaker in Gen AI. The outline of this day will include:
- Introduction to Generative AI: What the Technology Looks Like in 2024
- Text and Image Generation: Hands-on Workshop
- Multimodal Generative AI: Audio and Video Generation
- AI and Assessment: The Updated AI Assessment Scale
- The CESA Generative Artificial Intelligence in Education Guiding Document: an opportunity to explore and unpack and learn from schools about how they are supporting teachers and students to engage with Gen AI positively.
