Cognitive Coaching Skill Builder - Advanced Seminar

(One Day) facilitated by: Gavin Grift

You know the power of Cognitive Coaching- the ability to grow thinking, empower self-directed learning, and foster genuine respect and dignity in professional relationships. But what if your practice could feel even more natural, more aligned with your unique style, and even more impactful?

That’s exactly what this Cognitive Coaching Skill Building Workshop is designed to do.

This one-day workshop will not only refine the foundational tools you've already developed, but expand your capacity to build success in others, lead through influence, and nurture cultures of self-governance and empowerment.

Whether you're looking to refresh key capabilities or stretch into more advanced maps and tools, this session will meet you where you are - bringing your identity as a Cognitive Coach into sharper focus and supporting your growth in ways that feel authentic to you.

The workshop content includes:

  • Reflecting and Planning Conversations: This workshop teaches you how to embed two important maps for guiding coaching conversations from the Foundation Seminar.
  • The Problem-Resolving Conversation: This workshop focuses on this more advanced map to help people who are stuck.
  • Proficiency in the use of Cognitive Coaching Tools: This workshop helps you improve your skills by using four essential coaching tools: rapport, pausing, paraphrasing and asking meditative questions.
  • Refining Skills for using Data in Coaching Conversations: This workshop teaches you how to use data and questions to help people learn from information.
