We will be exploring First Communion as the sacrament that completes the process of initiation into the Church.  The catechetical content required for the delivery of the sacrament of First Eucharist will be shared, followed by an experience of Godly Play. The Sacramental Team from the Emmaus Catholic Parish will then share a detailed overview of the program they deliver, detailing the roles and responsibilities of each member, examples of the activities they facilitate and the ways in which they have modified and adapted their program to suit the changing needs of the families.

During afternoon tea, an opportunity will be provided to visit and explore the Catholic Resource Information Service (CRIS).

The session will begin with a shared meal, provided by the Catholic Education Office, modelling hospitality to all.
