As you are aware it is mandatory that all school sites have a trained Contact Officer for dealing with Workplace Bullying and Harassment. The requirements of Document 13 of the Safety Manual state that it is mandatory for appointed Contact Officers (Bullying & Harassment) to undertake training every 3 years.
Access Programs will be conducting training sessions for Contact Officers (Bullying & Harassment) on the following dates:
Term 1: Wednesday 6th March 2013 - 9.30 – 12.00 noon – Room 8, CEO, 116 George Street
Term 2: Wednesday 12th June 2013 - 9.30 – 12.00 noon - Room 6, CEO 116 George Street
Term 3: Wednesday 14th August 2013 - 9.30 – 12.00noon Room 8, CEO 116 George Street
There is a charge of $35.00 per person for each session. Please note parking is available at Kilmara site – see map attached.
It is important that newly appointed Contact Officers Bullying and Harassment attend a session as soon as possible, existing Contact Officers who have not attended training for the past 3 years need to attend.
