The Unique Student Identifier (USI) for school students is one of eight national policy initiatives in the National Schools Reform Agreement, which Education Ministers agreed to in 2018.
The Australian Government is providing all Australian school students with a secure lifetime Unique Student Identifier to better support students’ needs and tailor learning initiatives for improved educational outcomes.
The CEO participated in a pilot of the proposed environment in 2022/23.
A broader pilot is planned for 2024/25 which will have an impact on every Catholic school in SA.
You are invited to a seminar which will explore what the schools USI means for your school.
This is particularly important for schools not using the Civica Education Suite as changes will be required to your Student Administration system.
