Schools will be invoiced $320 - $640 per person, to participate in the training, with the exact cost dependent on the number of registrations received. This is a significant discount from the $1,221 charged per person, for public MulitiLit workshops.
Description
MiniLit Sage is an evidence-based, explicit and effective early literacy intervention program for teaching reading skills to children who are in the bottom 25% of the expected range for their age group in Years 1 or 2. This Tier 2 small group program can be conducted with up to four students within a Response to Intervention framework, but it can also be used on a one-to-one basis. MiniLit should be delivered 4-5 times per week, for one hour per lesson. The program can be delivered by teachers, learning support teachers, teacher aides or special educators.
Each workshop will take place over 2 days and participation at both days is required.
